Prestigious Eye on Biodiesel 'Initiative Award' goes to PACCAR

PACCAR won the prestigious Eye on Biodiesel Initiative Award at the 2016 National Bio-Diesel Conference for its role in bio-diesel synthesis. More than 1,00,000 vehicles took part in the list of renewable fuel ranks, thanks to PACCAR's adaptation of biodiesel blends for its engines. Trucks with these engines can run 12 billion miles annually, considering their average mileage.
Addressing the gathering at the event, the Director of aftermarket, Mr. Jason Johnson said that, their new PACCAR MX-11 and MX-13 engines & other equipment are now eligible for usage with B20 (20% bio-diesel and 80% petro-diesel).
Joe Jobe, National Biodiesel Board CEO, said, “PACCAR's support underlines that bio-diesel is the single best carbon mitigation strategy out there; with widespread support across all diesel applications; we are perfectly positioned to deliver even more cleaner burning bio-diesel into the marketplace. In recent times, users of B20 bio-diesel blends are recognizing its advantages, as it can offer them a cost-effective solution with limited carbon emission.
