Piaggio opens first electric vehicle outlets in Chennai

First of its kind experience centre in the state, customers now get access to Piaggio's entire EV portfolio of vehicles in passenger and cargo segments.
Taking an early lead in market penetration in the all-electric small commercial vehicle segment, Piaggio continues expanding its presence across India. After several strategic geographies, the company has opened its first customer experience centre in Chennai to allow customers experience the complete range of electric vehicles.
Piaggio in February launched its FX range (fixed battery) of electric vehicles in both cargo and passenger segments. These new products will be available at the new Chennai outlet. You can check out the FX range passenger carrier Ape E City and cargo carrier Ape E Xtra.
The all-new FX range of three-wheelers cater for the needs of customers by offering value for money and environment-friendly mobility solutions. To enable faster adoption of EVs, Piaggio is offering unique service solutions. This includes a segment-best warranty & free maintenance package to ensure confidence and peace of mind to customers. As the full electric three-wheeler is generating customer interest, the company is looking to further expand its presence in other key cities of Tamil Nadu.
The new Ape E-Xtra FX is the most powerful electric cargo in the segment with a 9.5 kW power output. It comes with a proven full metal body architecture fitted with a useful 6 ft. cargo deck length. It is also customizable for applications like the delivery van, garbage collector etc.
The passenger vehicle, Ape E-City FX is the most profitable 3 wheeler. Its superior features and comfortable ride ensures a higher number of trips and best in class earnings.
