Piaggio opens exclusive electric vehicle dealership in Cochin

With increasing interest among customers in the last-mile all-electric affordable three-wheeler in India, Piaggio is moving faster to offer customers the full experience of its EV range through EV only dealerships to entice interest among prospective buyers, this is the fourth such experience centre in the state. 

Piaggio Vehicles, India’s leading manufacturer of small commercial vehicles has inaugurated Kerala’s fourth EV experience centre, Ecomarq in Cochin. The experience centre is aimed at allowing customers to access Piaggio’s entire range of electric vehicles. Piaggio had recently launched their FX range (fixed battery) of electric vehicles in both cargo and passenger segments. These new products will be available at the new Cochin outlet.

To address the requirements of the cargo and passenger carrier segment, Piaggio offers its electric three-wheeler in both key segments. The all-new Ape’ E-Xtra FX is a powerful full-electric cargo three-wheeler in the segment with a 9.5 kW power output. The last-mile cargo vehicles are reliable full metal body architecture fitted with a useful 6 ft. cargo deck length. It is also customizable for applications like the delivery van, garbage collector etc. You can charge the vehicle easily at your home, the Ape E Xtra gets the best noise, vibration and harshness and proven, smooth suspension to help you carry all kinds of cargo across any terrain. Ape E Xtra is a 957 kg GVW cargo auto-rickshaw and allows a payload of 506 kg. 

Similarly, The passenger vehicle, Ape’ E-City FX is the most profitable 3 wheeler. Its superior features and comfortable ride ensures a higher number of trips and best in class earnings. What works in favor of the all-electric passenger three-wheeler is the affordability to run, with a nominal registration, free permit, and no road tax. 

In terms of features, the Ape E-Cit gets an advanced digital display for the first time in any 3W for all the vehicle information. This EV has no clutch and gear and can start by switching to start without any noise and vibration.
