New 2016 Fuso Daimler Trucks Launched in Kuwait
Published On Jun 16, 2016
Al Mulla Group, the exclusive agents of Fuso trucks and buses by Daimler in Kuwait, recently launched the new 2016 Fuso trucks in the country. The trucks were rolled out by Daimler’s state of the art Oragadam manufacturing facility in India. Al Mulla had also invited its customers to the launch ceremony in order to build a stronger and more successful bond for its businesses.
Murali, Head of Sales of Fuso Daimler Middle East, said that the new Fuso trucks have a more aggressive and pneumatic shape with sharper carving of the structure lines and a bolder font as compared to the previous version. In case of the heavy duty trucks, the smooth front lines determine the shape of the multiple-reflections headlights. Also, the front lower inclined bumper lends the vehicles a more stylish and attractive look.
The manufacturers have not only concentrated on the fluidity of the exterior design, but have made certain improvements in the aerodynamic design as well, thus reducing wind resistance when the truck is in motion. Apart from better fuel efficiency, the new Fuso provides additional space for passengers and transportation of goods.
The new category, that includes the FA, FI, FJ, FO and FZ trucks, has already been displayed in 20 commercial vehicle markets around the world. While FA and FI are medium weight trucks ranging from 9 to 16 tons, the other models, FJ, FO and FZ are heavy-duty trucks and fall within the 25 to 49 ton range.
Roland Schneider, CEO of Daimler Commercial Vehicles for the Middle East and North Africa said that the new Fuso trucks came with a Fuso logo and also added that the 80-year-old Fuso brand has already established its presence in prominent commercial vehicle markets around the world including significant ones in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.
Apart from 300 customers, the event was attended by senior officials of the Japanese Fuso company and top executives of the Al Mulla Group. The Group is one of the major companies in the region involved in 40 business activities including the automotive sector, financing services, engineering, manufacturing, health, real estate and education.
