Behind the wheels was Nagarjuna A, who made his native, Kesarpalli Panchayat in Andhra Pradesh proud by winning the second race of the Super Class category of T1 Prima Truck Racing Championship Season 3. The first Super Class race was won by Jagat Singh, a racer from Rattan Kalan in Haryana.
Batch 2 saw a tight race between the Indian racers. Nagarjuna took the chequered flag beating Bhag Chand by a mere five seconds. Anand came much behind, securing the third position. Jitendra Singh bagged the fourth spot tailing ahead of Bacchu Singh and MD Iliyas.
With a 36 months experience in driving a Prima truck, Nagarjuna, like Jagat, is capable of driving upto 24 hours at a stretch. The truckers underwent the rigorous T1 Racer Program and were part of the final 12 contestants selected from a larger pool of 135 Prima drivers.
