Michelin launches X Works HD Range of Radial Tyres in India

The new range of tyres are manufactured in India and caters to construction sector commercial vehicles.
French tyre maker, Michelin, has launched the new MICHELIN 10.00R20 X WORKS HD range of radial tyres in India. MICHELIN X WORKS HD D (drive axle) and MICHELIN X WORKS HD Z (all positions) are manufactured in the country itself. These tyres provide the optimum combination for extracting high mileage on the road and excellent grip and traction on construction sites. The high-performance combination makes it ideal for commercial vehicles that operate mostly on road but also need to deliver raw material to construction sites and collect waste from there.
The enhanced ON and OFF grip and aggression wear with large shoulder blocks and wider transversal V grooves on the drive axle of the X Works HD D make it ideal to take on mud and slush. While, on the other hand, the stone ejectors at the base of the tread grooves on the all-position X Works HD Z helps reduce stone trappings.
Michelin claims to have used some of the most advanced technology on the X WORKS HD range. For instance, super high tensile cables offers tougher crown strength and make the sidewalls stronger. Also, bead-related issues would now be minimized thanks to the additional protection around the beads and additional bead wires that offer 25% higher resistance to possible bead rupture.
With the government's continued efforts to strengthen infrastructure in the country, the new range of Michelin tyres have the job cut out for them. The new range of MICHELIN X WORKS D and Z tyres is currently available at all authorised Michelin truck and bus tyre dealers in the country.
