MAN SE's labour manager to switch to manager post at VW
Published On Jun 18, 2015
German truck producer MAN SE is going to experience a slight ruffle in its management. Its top labor representative has reportedly stated that he was quitting his post, and taking up a management role with Volkswagen, the brand's parent. Juergen Dorn has been a valued member of the company's works council since 2008. He is now going to resign this post, and go as a manager in the human resources department of VW, in the office based in Wolfsburg. Dorn had conveyed this in a letter written to the company’s staff. He will be taking over operations as the new manage in the parent company on June 1.
This shift is occurring at a crucial period in the company's history. The Swedish giant is now going through changes in strategy and structure among all of its brands, aimed at rivaling its market leader, Daimler.
