Mahindra has some of the compelling haulage trucks in the heavy-duty rigid segment to take on the rivals. The segment is among the prominent category in the overall cargo truck for long-distance bulk volume movement for many critical industries.

The multi-axle haulage segment is one of the largest in the overall truck market in India. Also, haulage trucks are the mainstay of efficient long-distance transportation and logistics requirements. Indian trucks have now moved on from transporting typically overload cargo to more of rated loads. This was accomplished by the strict enforcement by authorities and also the fleet operators' preference for rated loads which help to maintain trucks better and also avoid damage to national infrastructure.

Haulage trucks carry rated load over the length and breadth of India, and reliability is at the heart of these trucks. Fleet-operators and individual buyers mostly value durability and reliability. Importantly, the service support of OEMs is also a crucial factor in buying any brand of trucks.

Mahindra Trucks and Buses (MTB) is the challenger brand in the medium and heavy-truck market in India, which is dominated by Tata Motors and Ashok Leyland and brands like Eicher and BharatBenz eyeing a market share. MTB has a reliable HCV range of trucks taking on the established rivals with the promise of superior mileage, reliability and industry best support to the customers.

The five-axle erstwhile 37T rigid truck segment is the most popular and fastest-growing segment in India. It took-off nearly 5-6 years ago when companies looked at the need of the customers for a vehicle with maximum possible rated loads. The 37T segment becomes immensely popular with its economical operating cost with higher permissible cargo carrying capacities.

Truck maker recognized the importance of this segment, now every OEM offers a convincing product in this category to ride the wave of growth. The MTB’s Blazo X42 is 42T GVW truck suits perfectly for a customer looking for the highest payload rigid trucks.
