After doing rounds in the news souk with spy shots, touted features and rumored specifications, Mahindra has finally launched its much awaited Imperio Pick-up truck in India. Focused to meet the needs of small business owners, the pickup would be a preferred choice to connect city routes. Based on Mahindra’s latest design theory and next generation engine architecture, Imperio is meant to deliver power-packed performance while offering all the comfort you need.
The company already started taking the bookings prior to today's’ launch and would now be contacting all the potential buyers through its dealership network. Imperio is Mahindra’s 3rd launch in recent times after Jeeto and Supro mini truck.
Priced at Rs 6.25 lakhs (ex-showroom, Thane), Mahindra’s latest offering looks like a heavily remodelled version of the utility vehicle Genio LCV. Imperio’s bulky and aggressive look is accentuated by a front fascia highlighted by a smart toothed grille and honeycomb design. Plush interiors for added sophistication and stylish next-gen headlamps for enhanced vehicle style is guaranteed to make the vehicle score over others in the small commercial vehicle segment.
With single cabin and double cabin variants, Imperio comes with a warranty of 3 years/1,00,000 kms. The ergonomically designed huge cabin has smart door trimmings with map pocket and bottle holder. Designed to take luxury notches higher, the double cabin comes with added features which include central locking and keyless entry, and a 2 DIN music system. Imperio has been rolled out in three exciting colours: Lava Red, Verve Blue, and Arctic White.

The Mahindra Imperio comes with engine mobiliser that reduces the chances of theft. Other safety features include an electronic headlamp leveling device, high mounting stop lamp, and child-lock on rear doors, follow-me-home lights (for DC variants).
