Mahindra Electric expands dealer network in Nepal

The firm opens its 6th dealership in the country to serve customers with the popular electric three-wheeler range Treo.

A key market for its last-mile full-electric three-wheeler range, Mahindra continues to aggressively expand into the country. The new dealership, the 6th in the market, opened in Birtamode, Province 1, Nepal. Mahindra introduced the powerful and affordable all-electric Treo last year in partnership with a distributor Agni Energy.

Pabitra Mahatra Parsai - Mayor of Birtamode Municipality, Prakash Sibakoti - Chairman of Birtamode Chamber of Commerce, Rahul Sharma - Ward No. 4 Chairman of Birtamode, and Raju - Chairman of Birtamode Auto Association were present during the opening of the dealership. Also, a new sub-dealership in Damak was opened to cater to customers of Mahindra Electric's top last-mile, full electric range- Treo Auto and Treo Yaari.

In October 2021, Mahindra Electric introduced its popular lithium-ion-powered electric three-wheeler auto-rickshaw range Treo in Nepal. As demand for affordable, green and powerful auto-rickshaw has been increasing in the country, customers are open to trying out an alternative powered vehicle for their last-mile delivery business.

Mahindra Treo and Treo Yaari electric three-wheeler offer all the benefits of a diesel/CNG/Petrol auto-rickshaw at lower operating cost, ease of driving and enabling higher profit.
