Magenta Mobility partners with Flipkart for EV entry into Delhi-NCR

The EV solution provider aims to deploy over 400 electric vehicles in the capital. 

Taking advantage of the booming electric three-wheeler market in India, Magenta Mobility the EV mobility solutions provider tied up with Flipkart to bring in electric vehicles for last-mile cargo delivery needs. The partnership now paves the way for Magenta Mobility to venture into the Delhi market to deploy around 400 electric cargo vehicles to the Flipkart fleet in Delhi NCR.

At present, Magenta Mobility has a fleet of over 500 electric vehicles in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Mumbai catering to top brands in a variety of sectors such as e-commerce, grocery delivery, FMCG, food, and pharmaceuticals, helping their last-mile delivery needs with greener vehicles. 

According to Magenta Mobility thus far its EV vehicle fleet has covered more than 1 million kilometers, equating to approximately 150 metric tons of CO2. Magenta Mobility targets to put up a fleet of over 500 EVs in Delhi this year to meet and fulfill the needs of its customers toward a successful transition to clean transport solutions. needs of organizations looking to transition to clean mobility.

Flipkart will utilize Magenta's Electric cargo fleets, including the newly launched Mahindra Zor Grand and several top brands operating in the segment to speed up the growth of electric vehicle proliferation for last-mile logistics in the National Capital Region. Flipkart intends to bring in more than 25,000 electric vehicles in its supply chain needs to accomplish a complete deployment of e-mobility by 2030.
