Entries Open for Mahindra Transport Excellence Awards 2016

One of the biggest showstoppers of the commercial vehicle industry, the Mahindra Transport Excellence Awards (MTEA), is currently accepting entries for its 6th edition. The annual event by Mahindra Truck and Bus Division (MTBD) recognizes and rewards unsung heroes for Outperformance, Excellence, Innovation and Change Leadership within the transportation industry. Over the years, MTEA has transformed itself into a prestigious event that honors the best of the best in the domain and thus, draws hundreds of nominations every year.
This year, the entry dates have been rolled out from August 29 to October 31 for nominations in the following award categories: Fleet Owner, Safety Award, Youth Transport Personality, Lady Transport Personality, Commercial Vehicle Financier, Emerging Fleet owner, Super Outperformer Driver/HCV Driver, Saarthi Abhiyaan Outperformer, Highway Dhaba and Road Safety Short Story Contest.

Applicants can apply for the awards by either submitting the form and relevant supporting documents online at the above link or by mailing the hard copies of the form (and supporting documents) to the specified address.
Any organization, individual, Company, Trust, HUF, sole proprietorship, partnership having operations in India will be eligible to send an entry. The jury will consist of experts and professionals chosen by MTBD and its associates for evaluating the entries and selecting the winners.
The award selection will be based on case studies and presentations that highlight one of these three themes—accepting no limits, alternative thinking, and driving positive change. Short-listed applicants will be contacted by MTBD for the final presentation.
The Mahindra Transport Excellence Awards 2015 was held on March 4, 2016 which witnessed the presence of several eminent personalities from the transportation sector. Top officials from the Ministry for Road Transport and Highways, media delegates, top fleet owners, dealers and transporters from all over the country, and bigwigs from Mahindra were also present at the occasion.
