e-Ashwa Automotive, a leading electric vehicle manufacturing brand in India has entered the new era of the Decentralised Co-Assembly Unit concept in the EV industry at multiple locations under joint ownership between e-Ashwa and the licensee of the Assembly Unit.

At present, the firm has 26 Co-Assembly Units in 16 states including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Maharashtra, Telangana, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Goa, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh.

This Decentralised Co-Assembly Unit is set up by e-Ashwa in a joint venture with someone interested in setting up such a unit with e-Ashwa and is willing to co-invest not only the Investment amount required for such a unit but also willing to act as a local operational partner of e-Ashwa and willing to do an end to end management of the unit. Such an Assembly line is given a periphery of 100 KMs in each direction by keeping the place of the unit at the center.

This jurisdiction becomes exclusive to the unit and e-Ashwa provides the following value addition to the unit:

• All approvals to manufacture and sell vehicles are provided free of cost

Strong Portfolio and Wide Network

To cater to customers across all key regions in India, e-Ashwa Automotive has a strong presence in both electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers segments with an 800+ retail store network across the country. The firm introduced its own branded electric vehicles in 2021 and currently has over 12 different lithium-ion models in the electric two-wheelers segment including electric scooters and electric motorcycles. These new low-speed two-wheelers under the e-Ashwa brand can run up to 25km/hour with 70 to 100kms mileage.
