We get into the three key tractor-trailers offered by the Eicher in the top-end of the heavy-duty segment- the Pro 6040, Pro 6046 and Pro 6055

Eicher says this TT is modern, equipped with advanced technology, highly durable aggregates with a globally recognized BS6 powertrain, designed and developed for Indian road and operating conditions, capable and fulfill any challenging cargo transport needs for its customers.

Pro 6040

The Pro 6040, as the name suggests, is a 40T gross weight tractor-trailer, it is powered by the Eicher VEDX5, 4-cylinder, BS6 engine, it produces a maximum power of 250hp at a massive 900 Nm of torque. Their key aggregates are high quality 395 mm clutch, 6-speed gearbox, heavy-duty fully floating single reduction rear axle. The front suspension is a parabolic leaf spring with shock absorber and the rear semi-elliptic laminated leaf spring. The Pro 6040 comes with a comfortable sleeper cabin, the fuel tank is 350L size, and gradability is 16% on the 3200 mm wheelbase. 

The Pro 6040 is suitable for applications including cement, bulker, tip trailer, blue metal & coal, tankers, steel coil, market load, ISO containers, and medium over-dimensional cargo.  

Pro 6046

The Pro 6046 is a 45.5T gross weight tractor-trailer, it is powered by the Eicher VEDX8, 6-cylinder, BS6 engine, it produces a maximum power of 260hp at a massive 1000 Nm of torque.

The Pro 6046 gets a high quality 430 mm clutch, 9-speed gearbox, heavy-duty fully floating single reduction rear axle, the front suspension is parabolic leaf spring with shock absorber, and the rear semi-elliptic laminated leaf spring. The tilt and telescopic in power-steering offers a comfortable driving experience. This TT also gets a comfortable sleeper cabin, the fuel tank is 350L size, and gradability is 26% on a wheelbase of 3200 mm. This TT can be deployed on various applications, including SO containers, cement, tankers, steel coil, tip trailers, reefer.

Pro 6055

The Pro 6055 is the top-end, highest 55T gross weight tractor-trailer, powered by the Eicher VEDX8, 6-cylinder, BS6 engine, produces a maximum power of 260hp at a massive 1000 Nm of torque.

The Pro 6055 shared almost similar aggregates like the high quality 430 mm clutch, 9-speed gearbox, heavy-duty fully floating single reduction rear axle, and the front suspension is parabolic leaf spring with shock absorber and the rear bell crank suspension. The tilt and telescopic in power-steering offers an effortless driving experience. This TT also gets a comfortable sleeper cabin, the fuel tank is 350L size, and gradability is 23% on the 4050 mm wheelbase. 

This top-end TT can be used for massive cargo-carrying applications, including containers, auto-carriers, LPG bullets, steel coil, and even colossal over-dimensional cargo.
