Eicher Pro 1000 Series Now Loaded with AFC and HexaDrive Technologies

In an urge to reap the fruits of the swiftly growing Indian commercial vehicle industry, Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles is taking strides with new launches. Soon after the launch of Eicher Pro 6037 heavy duty truck, the company has now come with Advance Fuel Combustion (AFC) and HexaDrive technology for Pro 1000 series. These new technologies will help in improving the fuel economy and turnaround time—two major profit making areas for fleet owners.
Based on “Higher Vehicle Lifetime Profitability” theory by Eicher, these new technologies will feature in the recently launched Pro 1110 and Pro 1110 XP trucks, which fall under intermediate commercial vehicle segment. The two trucks, when coupled with new technology, offer 115 hp power and 400 Nm torque (when complying with BS-III emission norms) and 120 bhp power and 400 Nm (when complying with BS-IV emission norms).
AFC has been introduced to make the combustion process more efficient than ever. With the new advance combustion chamber design and optimized fuel injection, air gets mixed at a better rate, hence increases the overall fuel efficiency.
HexaDrive technology is more about making trips faster so that the trucks can do more rounds and churn out more profit. This technology incorporates next-gen 6-speed overdrive gearbox to generate higher torque and optimize the gear ratios for better performance.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. P Ravishankar, EVP, Sales, Marketing and After Market, Eicher said, “The series offers the most profitable products of Eicher Pro series, categorically designed and engineered to meet specific customer requirements. Our endeavor is to ensure maximum lifetime profitability to our customer by enhancing fuel efficiency through advanced fuel combustion engine technology (AFC) and HexaDrive technology along with the best in class payload capacity. Our improved vehicles will enable customers to go miles ahead in their business.”
