Eicher Polaris Multix to Launch BS-IV Variant

After successfully wooing the Indian customers since the past sixteen months, Eicher Polaris Multix is set to be launched in a BS-IV variant. Eicher Polaris is also planning to expand the reach of the vehicle to 100 cities across India from the existing 13 cities. The BS-IV variant will now be available in Kerala, Karnataka, Odisha and Tamil Nadu.
The vehicle will be priced at INR 3,43,000 (ex-showroom, Jaipur) and will be available in four colours and two variants—AX+ and MX.
The Multix is a result of a successful collaboration between domestic commercial vehicle maker Eicher and global ATV expert Polaris. The Multix BS-IV variant is claimed to provide fuel economy of 27 km/l.

Eicher Polaris Multix has been tested in one of the toughest testing tracks in the US as well as in India. The 3-in-1 vehicle provides the flexibility of being a business vehicle, a passenger vehicle, as well as a power generator. The 510 cc engine produces a max power of 9.92 bhp @ 3000 rpm and 27.1 Nm @ 1400 - 2200 rpm. A GVW of 1150 kg support a decent payload capacity of 500 kg. The spacious cabin easily accommodates five people. The most unique feature of the vehicle is the X-PORT system which can generate up to 3kW power that is enough to light homes, power equipment, DJ systems and water pumps.
