Eicher launches new BS6 truck range- EUTECH6

The company today unveiled its BS6 truck range from 4.9-55T branded as EUTECH6 promising higher uptime and reliable technology.

VE Commercial Vehicle today revealed its complete BS6 range of trucks and buses across 4.9-55T tagged with Eicher’s innovative BS6 solution- EUTECH6. The new platform combines VECV’s Euro VI expertise with the most reliable engine technology & fuel-efficient driveline. The trucks also feature enhanced Uptime-a proposition to ensure 24X7 support to customers for higher efficiency of their trucks.

VECV is already manufacturing BS6 engines since last six years for the export markets, the new range of Eicher vehicles feature an efficiency and reliable EATS (exhaust after-treatment system) and engine technology tested for over 5.6 million kms. The BS6 trucks and buses boasts of higher fuel efficiency and duty-cycle based SCR solution for higher reliability and lower maintenance.

Complete vehicle support

The Uptime centre at the company’s Pithampur plant will offer service support with a team of diagnostic experts offering Remote Diagnostic, Predictive Diagnostics and specialise field support to all BS6 Eicher Vehicles. This is in beyond the 24x7 Eicher On-Road Service (EOS) to provide highway assistance across the country. The team of experts are equipped to communicate in various regional languages.

To cater to the need of strengthening the ecosystem the company has address new competence development centres and mobile training facilities taking the total to 18 such training delivery points. Besides this, ‘Uptime Enablement’ of all workshops in the network is progressing rapidly to ensure the availability and adequacy of people, processes and infrastructure to work effectively and deliver a superior Uptime to customers in the BS6 environment.

Eicher had unveiled India’s first BS6 offering in June 2019 with the introduction of new-generation Pro2000 series. The deliveries of BS6 vehicle have already started in selected market where the fuel is available and the complete new range of trucks and buses will soon be available across India starting this month.

Focus on customer

Eicher has already started the production of its BS6 trucks in full-swing and the deliveries of new trucks have already commenced in selects markets where the fuel is available. The company is promising higher customer satisfaction and complete peace of mind with the new BS6 trucks. Eicher has a BS6 engine family 2-8 cylinder ranging from 100-350HP with seven configurations including CNG. The company says the new BS6 engines promise 13-30% more torque for higher uptime and faster deliveries to its customers, this is without compromising on the mileage. The company continues to promise higher mileage across its truck range.
