Eicher delivers 315th truck to KNR Constructions  

Strengthening partnership with one of the major infra firms in Southern India, Eicher has successfully completed delivery of a missive order and secured another large order for its heavy-duty EUTECH6 trucks.

In one of the major orders for its all-new BS6 trucks, Eicher Trucks successfully delivered the 315th truck to KNR CONSTRUCTIONS, Hyderabad based infra major.  

Eicher has been associated with KNT Construction for over 5 years now, offering its modern trucks for critical infrastructure development projects. Within a short period, Eicher became one of the major truck OEMs for KNR Construction to help execute vital infrastructure projects. And based on the performance of its tipper, Eicher has bagged another massive order of 130 vehicles to execute prestigious mega NHAI expressway projects across South India.

KNT Construction operates a fleet of over 1000 trucks its vast infrastructure projects, and Eicher trucks comprise nearly 33 percent of the total fleet. 

Innovative Site Support Model

In this particular order, Eicher is offering a Site Support Model developed by Volvo Trucks-which are exclusively distributed and serviced in India by VECV. Under this model, Eicher takes over the complete maintenance of the fleet, thus reliving KNR Constructions from the hassle looking after the huge truck fleet. 

The professional on-site team at Eicher is fully geared with tools, parts and equipment to deliver an uptime of tippers and includes all scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs. All new BS6 compliant Eicher trucks and buses are connected by state-of-the-art telematics to the first-in-India Eicher Uptime Centre that monitors each vehicle's performance in real-time.

Modern Tipper

Eicher has a wide range of tippers that are tailor-made for heavy-duty construction requirements. The 6028T is built on the robust Pro 6000 platform, developed on Eicher’s latest innovative BS6 EUTECH6 technology. The tipper gets proven and reliable VEDX8 engines that produces 260hp of power at a whopping 1000Nm torque that is adequte to take on all kinds of challenging infrastructure needs. The Pro 6028T comes with best in class power to weight and torque to weight ratios, superior gradeability these tippers are designed to operate in tough and challenging applications.

The tipper is fitted with standard intelligent features like Fuel Coaching, IDIS (intelligent driver information system), Cruise Control further adds to higher productivity and enhanced fuel efficiency offering enormous value to customers’ business.
