Covid-19: Eicher helps customers and dealers with special package

Besides the extension of warranty and service contracts for eligible vehicles, a COVID insurance scheme for all dealership employees and special reward and recognition for service technicians.
At a time when the country is reeling from the pandemic and the transport sector is reeling enduring economic devastation, truck makers are stepping up to rescue everyone in the ecosystem with appropriate measures to soften the blow to pass through these unprecedented times. India’s leading truck maker VE Commercial Vehicle announces a comprehensive package to support Eicher truck and bus customers, dealers, and dealer employees as they continue to operate in this difficult time.
As a part of this initiative, the company will offer COVID Insurance, including medical and life insurance covers to eligible dealership employees. This insurance coverage will support over 10000 dealership employees spread across 520 Eicher dealer locations. VECV will reward Eicher service technicians who are working 24*7 to ensure smooth service and vehicle Uptime. The company has also announced an extension of Warranty / Service Agreement / Extended Warranty for all the eligible vehicles by two months.

The key details of the package include:
- Dealer Employee Care:Life Insurance and Medical insurance cover all eligible employees of the dealership across the country.
- Financial Support: Dealers will be provided with soft loans to support their operations.
- Dealer Employee Recognition: Rewards & recognition for Dealer Technicians providing 24x7 On-road assistance.
- Extension of Warranty and Service Agreements (AMC): All the vehicles whose warranty, extended warranty, free service and service agreement (AMC) is expiring between 1st April 2021 to 31st May 2021 would be provided with an extension of 2 months from their respective expiry dates·
