BharatBenz exports over 9000 vehicles in 2021

The total export comprising fully-built vehicles, CKDs and parts to over 60 markets worldwide doubles compared to last year.
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), the maker of BharatBenz trucks continues to leverage its Indian manufacturing capabilities as a strong export hub. In the calendar year 2021, the company has set another record by exporting over 9000 commercial vehicles.
With this, the company crosses new milestones including 45,000 vehicles, 9000 CKD kits and 200 million parts exported. DICV is the only Daimler Truck location worldwide that produces engines, transmissions, trucks and buses at the same site under four brands – BharatBenz, FUSO, Mercedes-Benz, and Freightliner
India Export Hub
India is a key hub for Daimler Trucks, with DICV serving not only growing domestic demand, but also more than 60 export destinations across the globe including markets in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
According to BharatBenz, international business is one of DICV’s key strategic pillars for long-term growth. With the help of around 400 local suppliers, the company combine cost-efficient production mechanisms with the latest technological innovations to manufacture sustainable and reliable products.
