To become closer to the customers to serve them better, the truck makers continue to make a strategic investment in the expansion of the network. The company today announced the opening of three new dealerships in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala, and two new outlets to deliver parts in Tamil Nadu. The new touchpoints increase BharatBenz network’s monthly service capacity to over 6000 trucks annually.
Despite the challenging time facing the Indian trucking industry, truck makers are betting big on the future as they continue to make strategic investments to take advantage when the market recovers. While the truck sales have been witnessing roller-coaster rides over the last 12-18 months, OEMs are hoping the challenging time will not last forever and demand for the truck will come back as the Indian economic prospects for the future remain gleaming.
To stay ahead of the game in serving the customer better, being closer to them is vital for truck makers, this not only helps fleet operators to get all the necessary help when the trucks go off-road, but this also brings in a lot of confidence in the brand. BharatBenz knows well that staying close to the customer is key, hence the company continues to invest in network expansions through the pandemic times, this is an indication that it believes in the longer-term promise of the Indian trucking industry. BharatBenz popular trucks in India include the 1215R, 1917R, 2823R, 2828C among others.
Expansion in South
To further strengthen its presence in the key southern markets, BharatBenz has announced the opening of three new dealerships across key states including Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.
The new dealerships are in Kolar and Davanagere in Karnataka, Bhimavaram in Andhra Pradesh, and Kasaragod in Kerala. DICV also inaugurated two new outlets to deliver parts in Theni and Tiruvarur in Tamil Nadu. The continued expansion demonstrates DICV’s firm commitment to the Indian market and BharatBenz community. The new touchpoints increase BharatBenz network’s monthly service capacity to over 6000 job cards per annum.
Speaking on the new expansion of the network, Rajaram Krishnamurthy, VP Marketing, Sales and Customer Service, said, “Our goal is to increase customer convenience and offer state-of-the-art experience through our products and services. To ensure ease of servicing and access to customers, our goal is to minimize the distance between dealerships. The new dealerships that we have opened reiterate commitment to our customers and confidence in the growth of the southern CV market.”
On-ground touchpoints are an integral aspect of BharatBenz’s growth trajectory and continue to remain a focus area. Last year, DICV had announced 10 touchpoints in a single day and it plans to have 350 dealerships by the end of 2022.
The value offered by BharatBenz trucks was validated by increasing customer confidence in the brand, enabling the company to outpace the market even during the tough conditions of 2020. BharatBenz is currently offering free extensions on Annual Maintenance Contracts and Extended Warranties for its customers for three months.
