BharatBenz Expands its Footprint in North India

BharatBenz, German automaker Daimler’s Indian arm for commercial vehicles, has become one of the renowned brands in the country within a very short span of time. With trucks ranging from 9-49 tonnes for all applications like mining, hauling, and city-transport, the company has a strong portfolio of vehicles to lure customers. Expanding its presence in North India, BharatBenz has now opened up a new dealership at Ghaziabad, National Capital Region (NCR) in partnership with Espirit Trucking.
Focusing its business in small cities, this dealership is the first step towards the penetration in Tier II and Tier III cities. The new dealership will cater to the needs of customers for BharatBenz trucks and buses alongside luxurious Mercedes-Benz buses. Apart from the vehicles, the new dealership will also provide round-the-clock roadside assistance, driver training, vehicle tracking system, cashless zero-depreciation insurance, full maintenance contract, and on-site service as well.
Present at the inauguration, DICV Vice President (Domestic Sales, Product Management and Network) Mr. Sominder Singh, said, “We want to get even closer to our customers - in line with our continuous growth, we are further expanding our sales and service network. Espirit Trucking is an experienced partner who will provide excellent sales and services to our customers from this new venture in Ghaziabad.”
Espirit Trucking Director Vivek Awasthi, who was also present at the occasion, seemed ecstatic about the launch. “Ghaziabad is the perfect location for this new full-fledged commercial vehicle dealership. Our investment here reflects our belief into the enormous growth opportunities for commercial vehicles in one of India's most vibrant regions, with the BharatBenz and Mercedes-Benz brands giving us the right products to be successful,” he quoted.
