The firm executed the order just before the national lockdown. The 4023-tractor trailers customized for the customers' requirements, equipped with connectivity features and driver state monitoring systems.

Just before the national lockdown came into effect in the wake of the Corona pandemic, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), the maker of BharatBenz truck, completed a major order with the delivery of 120 BharatBenz trucks. The blue BharatBenz 4023T tractors were handed over to our customer CJ Darcl Logistics in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

CJ Darcl Logistics is a Joint Venture between Korean group CJ and Indian logistics company Darcl. It is one of India's leading end-to-end transport and logistics companies. "The customer already owns 112 BharatBenz trucks and with these additional 120 vehicles we renew commitment to our Indian truck brand in its effort to build a fleet of modern, reliable, safe and efficient trucks", says DICV

The BharatBenz 4023T tractors are specifically built for the customer's requirements, most evident of which is the striking blue livery. Furthermore, all trucks are equipped with DICV's connectivity feature Truckonnect, allowing fleet managers to track and analyze their vehicles in real-time. For additional driver safety, the trucks are fitted with the innovative Driver State Monitoring System (DSMS), helping drivers to stay attentive with the use of AI and vision technology.

As the youngest brand of Daimler Truck AG, BharatBenz trucks are tailored for the Indian market and its customer requirements. BharatBenz trucks are appreciated by Indian fleet customers in particular for their superior reliability, with several customer vehicles already crossing more than 1 million kilometers of running with the original factory-built powertrain.

BharatBenz 4023 Tractor Trailer is a modern puller for the long-haul transportation that comes with superior aggregates and powerful engines combined with excellent torque for better pulling powers.

In January 2020 BharatBenz unveiled its brand New BS6 truck range design and developed for the Indian market.

DICV produces and sells BharatBenz trucks and buses above 9 to 55 tons and has produced more than 100,000 BharatBenz vehicles since the market launch in 2012 – an unprecedented ramp-up in one of the world's most challenging commercial vehicle markets.

Despite the tough market conditions, BharatBenz expanded its network and touchpoints across the country in 2019. The firm is also leveraging digital technologies to reach out to its customers and provides tools to enhance the productivity and efficiencies of trucks.

The company is also promising higher fuel efficiency from its BS6 truck range along with a variety of features to modernize the operation. In a strategic shift, BharatBenz is taking a different approach in providing solutions to its customers by moving away from the conventional tonnage policy to more customizes trucks. This will be achieved by looking at customers' needs and requirements to offer him the most suitable truck.
