Auto Expo 2016: Tata Motors Launches Signa Range of Trucks

Tata Motors has launched the Signa range of trucks at Auto Expo 2016 today. Tata's new brand Signa will not be just another range of products, but will be a platform of products which will be replacing the entire 'unbranded' M&HCV range in the future. The Signa brand will focus on driveline breed and design philosophy to which the concept of trust bar would be pivotal. The much anticipated and awaited vehicle boasts of a cutting-edge design and contemporary looks.

Tata Motors has introduced the Signa brand to strengthen its presence in the commercial vehicle industry. Although the trucking giant still leads the CV market, Tata has already lost 10 percent of its market share and hopes the new launches will help revive its foothold in the industry. Tata has invested around Rs 500 crore for developing the Signa range.


At the launch event at Auto Expo 2016 today, officials from Tata Motors said that trust and innovation will still be central to their approach.

Positioned just below the Prima brand, the Tata Signa vehicles are said to address the future of trucking in the Indian CV industry.
