Auto Expo 2016: Scania Displays R 580 and Launches G 310 Truck, Citywide Bus at the Event

Swedish truck maker Scania has displayed its vehicle named as R 580 utility truck and has launched G 310 truck and a Citywide bus at the ongoing Auto Expo 2016. They also showcased latest technology of converting local sewage and water waste to meet local fuel demands.
At the event Mr. Mikael Benje, Managing Director, Business Unit, Scania India, said, "We are delighted to announces the global launch of the most anticipated Scania Citywide bus at this year's Auto Expo in India. Scania Citywide buses can be run on bio-fuel and will offer a whole new level of travel comfort, aid grade passenger flow and safety as passengers continue to seek a more luxurious and comfortable journey even for a small distance."
At Auto Expo, Scania also showcased its premium coach "Metrolink 14.5 m" bus that offers unmatched safety and comfort. The premium high performance G 310 haulage tractor has been specifically launched for the Indian market. The new tractor truck creates a new category for Scania India with the company being the only player in this premium segment so far.
