The new Mahindra trucks have a wheelbase of 4100 mm and a fuel tank capacity of 350 liters. The vehicles come with a speed limiter and have a max speed of 80 km/hr. A decent gradeability of 20.7% help the Blazo Smart Trucks easily navigate inclined roads. A single sleeper cabin is equipped with tilt and telescopic steering and HVAC (optional).
Unlike in several countries abroad, India’s trucking technology is still in the nascent stage. However, key players are continuously innovating to provide Indian customers with international trends while still complying with the budget of domestic buyers. The current Auto Expo has witnessed some of the leading brands such as Eicher come up with intelligent trucking systems (Eicher-Live).
Industry experts have predicted that Mahindra's latest vehicles will increase the auto maker's market share in the medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCV) industry.
