Ashok Leyland launches ecomet STAR 1415 tipper with 7 cubic meters capacity

Targeting the uptick in rural India as well infrastructure in the hilly regions, the new ICV tipper comes with the benefits of effortless navigation across narrow roads & easier accessibility to loading & unloading at construction sites.  

Ashok Leyland today introduced the ecomet STAR 1415, a 7 cubic meter tipper - the first to offer 7 cubic meter capacity in the intermediate commercial vehicle (ICV) segment. The ecomet STAR 1415 tipper complements the company's intermediate tipper range with earlier launches such as  ecomet STAR 1015 with a 5 cubic meters and ecoment STAR 1215, a 6 cubic meter capacity tipper.

The ecomet STAR 1415 tipper comes with a 14T gross weight and is fitted with a twin tipping ram for heavy-duty operations. It is powered by the company’s iGen6 technology, 150h, H4 engine capable of delivering 450 Nm of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed heavy-duty DD for best in the class fluid economy.

This all-new tipper carries 10-15% more load per trip and enhances customer revenue substantially. Heavy duty –axle, suspension & frame, full metal cabin, longer service intervals, lower maintenance cost resulting in enhanced customer profitability. The ecomet STAR 1415 tipper supports multiple applications such as transportation of sand, blue metal, bricks, construction material and road construction among others. The ecomet STAR tipper range is one of the best in the ICV category with 5 ,6 & 7 cubic meter capacity for its performance, fuel efficiency, and low maintenance.
