Ashok Leyland expands its tractor range with the introduction of AVTR 4220 and AVTR 4420

The two new 40-tonne GCV 4x2 configuration tractors based on the AVTR platform promise to carry denser loads for greater fuel efficiency and superior total cost of ownership.
To cater to the growing demand for tractor trailers and also offer a wider choice to its large fleet customers, Ashok Leyland, India’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, expands its tractor portfolio with the launch of AVTR 4220 with 41.5T GCW and AVTR 4420 with 43.5T GCW in the 4x2 Tractor segment.
With this launch, Ashok Leyland became the first Indian OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) to offer tractors with 41.5T and 43.5T GCW in two-axle configuration.
Ashok Leyland’s top-end tractor range includes the 55-tonne GVW 5525 (Starting from ₹ 39.14 Lakh), 5525 4x2 (₹ 39.14 - ₹ 45.08 Lakh, )5425, 40-tonne GVW 4020 (₹ 27.88 - ₹ 29.64 Lakh), among other.
