Ashok Leyland delivers the first batch of BSVI Trucks

The company decided to make BS-VI trucks available commercially in National Capital Region due to the availability of BS-VI fuel.
Taking a lead among its peers, Ashok Leyland, second-largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, on January 18 delivered the first batch of BS-VI trucks to its customers, ahead of the implementation date of 1st April 2020. This first batch of BS-VI vehicles were delivered in the Delhi-NCR region aligning to the BS-VI fuel availability in the country.
Ashok Leyland has consistently depended on its in-house R&D talent and indigenous technology for leading innovations in the Commercial Vehicle industry. Its focus has been to develop solutions that are relevant to the Indian conditions and Indian customers. For meeting the BS-VI emission standard, the company developed an innovative iGen6 technology that will ensure higher operating profits for customers.
