The increasing preference for affordable, greener e-rickshaw by the customer has skyrocketed sales surpassing the conventional three-wheelers. The high growth in the e-auto segment has intensified the competition as brands are eyeing customers' attention. Besides the established players, a number of start-ups have entered this vehicle category, and to serve the customers better, being closer geographically is highly critical. Furthermore, to create buzz around the brands, and boost sales, a wider network is essential, prompting top EV 3W brands to make an investment in this area.
Bengaluru-based electric vehicle maker, Altigreen which produces the popular neEV branded cargo three-wheeler is doing just that. The company is spreading its reach across key markets by opening branded customer experience centers. Within a week, it opened two new such experience centers in Ahmedabad and Pune, respectively, a total of 8 such outlets in less than two months.
Apart from the two new showrooms, Altigreen is already present in metro cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. The company says this new experience center will allow EV enthusiasts and potential customers to access Altigreen’s range of electric cargo vehicles.
Altigreen produces e-auto rickshaws that are designed and developed locally keeping in mind the operating needs and duty cycles. The neEV range of cargo e-rickshaw is backed by 25 global patents granted in 60 countries.
Altigreen neEV e-auto is affordable to run and needs minimum maintenance, thus helping customers earn better profit through his last-mile delivery business. The neEV e-rickshaw is available at an attractive price that promises to save ₹ 1 lakh from the very first year's low per/km running cost of just 82 paise, over 54% reduction in the total cost of operation along with over ₹10 lakhs saving in the vehicle lifetime.
