Tata LPT 3118 BS-IV

April 20, 2020: The Tata LPT 3118 falls under the category of middleweight truck, provided with a maximum permissible GVW of 31,000kg to ensure maximum load ability. Available in both, Cab and Cowl options to provide maximum functionality to its users, the Tata LPT 3118 allows a kerb weight of 7,750kg, making it good for use in transportation of general goods, FMCG, market loads, construction and mining materials.

Based on four total wheelbase options of 5,205 mm, 5,505 mm, 5,905 mm and 6,750 mm, the LPT 3118 is divided into six different variants. Also, the truck receives heavy competition from the likes of Eicher Pro 6031.

Powering the vehicle is a six-cylinder Cummins ISBe BSIV format engine. The 5,883cc produces a maximum power of 175 hp besides a peak torque of up to 700Nm. Handling the transmission inside the vehicle is a six-speed manual gearbox coupled to a single-plate dry friction type clutch.
